What brings people into therapy?
People from all walks of life come into therapy , using a supportive and confidential place to talk , explore and make sense of their thoughts , feelings and behaviours, enabling them to make positive changes in their lives.
I offer both short term counselling and longer term therapy for adults , the issues that I work with include :
- Anxiety and panic attacks
- Depression and feeling low
- Low self esteem
- Low confidence
- Work related stress
- Relationship difficulties
- Loss and bereavement
- Parenting challenges
- Family difficulties
- Low confidence
- Childhood issues
- Feeling like something is not quite ‘right’
- Loneliness
I believe that therapy provides an opportunity to increase our awareness and understanding of ourselves , others and the world. Increased awareness enables us to make the positive changes we want to , allowing us to live a fully vibrant life with both our strengths and vulnerabilities.
